From field to baker

Directly from farmer via miller to you
TO DISCOVER

Wheat from Etten-Leur

Traditionally ground

(H)honest flour

The tastiest bread

Run entirely by volunteers

The team consists of 5 millers, 2 people for technical support and 8 volunteers.

If possible, the mill is put into operation every Wednesday and Saturday afternoon in turn. Every miller of course has his own story about why he fell in love with the miller's trade, but they are right about one thing and that is the love for the mill, its stateliness, the technology, the whirring of the blades, the sound of the many wooden parts and of course "The Wind".

OVER ONS

"The wind is my friend"

1

Monument

The mill is of great value to the Etten Leurs community. It is primarily a beautification of the village. It is an industrial monument to the history of Etten Leur.

2

Durable

A mill is the great example of wind energy technology. This technology, which is still under development, is now used all over the world, including in the generation of electricity.

3

Regional products

Our mill grinds organically grown grain into many types of flour products. These delicious local products are for sale in our mill shop.

4

Educational

There is no monument that contains as many educational elements as a mill. We receive approximately 2000 visitors every year. Many from Etten Leur, but De Lelie also often leaves a deep impression on foreign visitors.
