Millwright major maintenance


Every 10 years the blades (rods) must be "pulled out", i.e. the rod must be pulled slightly out of the axle head in order to check the part within the axle head. The millwright inspects for defects such as corrosion and cracks. Fortunately everything was fine. There was also a lot of work to be done inside the hood, the top axle was "tamped up" by about 2.5 cm because it had sunk. The top wheel had a crank, this has also been resolved. And some further adjustment work.
